Fantastic quality pics, thanks!

That F-22 looks unreal in the first pic, like it's just hanging in mid-air.

Holy s%@t those are some amazing shots. What kind of camera did you use?

Aww I used to live near RAF Fairford and go to RIAT... Awesome show, I really wanted to go this year because of the F-22! I was there the year they got rained off! Were there 2 of them?

Soviet Ace 07-21-2010 04:13 AM

Oh you know, they usually had genuine USSR high grade rubber wheels... :P

There were two F-22's only one flew though, the other was just a spare in case they broke one. Think I have a pic of them both with a KC-135 and sort of heat hased out. Not the best shot ever but hey!

I was using a 75-300 all day. Quite handy for the air desplay, had to stand back for the static though.

@Soviet: ahhh, they be the Capitalist Dunlop tires then? :P

I hope it doesn't rain at Farnborough, should be some good F-22 displays.

:-x That would have been amazing but the F-15 wasn't flying on Saturday. No F-22 either. Still, got an awesome B-52 fly-over, F-16, F-18, C-130, Vulcan and Battle of Britain memorial flight.

winny 07-25-2010 09:27 PM

Nice pics, F16 one in particular, very nice.

Thanks. The only thing I didn't like much was the Bouchon 109, the paint job didn't help much either.
