Yesterday Night,

I found Morghot and myself in a 20mn SIM Team Battle over Dover 2vs3. We were on Spit MKiX while the 3 other bandits were en Bf109s. and We had a great win with a large margin. :-P :-P (We had the plane advantage but still outnumbered)

During the fight I had unexpected visitors at home and so I had to left the game during approx 5-8 mins. (Well I know that's not very cool for my online teamate :rolleyes: but well we have to be realist, I can't be rude with my friends, especially girls one)

So basically Morghot fight a 1vs3 dogfight during that time and he still managed to kill without being killed. :eek::eek:

I think that that performance deserves at least a special threads to pay a tribute to its combat skill.

I have a lot of problem spotting enemies in with my 15" screen, so I might be playing more realistic than sim. But will certainly not give up sim :), its way more fun.

Yeah...NL stands for netherlands. too bad the MorgothNL gamertag was allready taken, so I made my gametag MorgothME :P

Most people call me phill, am 26 years old and live in the 072 area of the netherlands. So basicly i'm looking for some fellow dutchmen too. I don't know if it matters, but you all seem to play xboxes and i'm on a ps3 (psn: phillphorrari). Just bought this game yesterday, so i'm probably asking for getting my behind kicked , but it would be nice to fly against/with some other nederlanders.

Wow... you picked a nice random very dead topic to post that in.. what was the reason you decided to post here?

Im no detective...... but im guessing (could be waayyyyyy off here) that he saw it was for MorghotNL and since NL is hooland... he's looking for dutch players...... he thought this could be a good place to start? ;) im going to stop now, i've gone cross eyed :P haha.

On a side note ive not had the pleasure of shooting down morghotNL yet.... ot get shot down by him :D

Waiting for the patch ;), I'm still checking these forums every day, but not playing anymore. After the patch, we will surely end up chasing each other ;)

Morgoth, you greedy bugger ;) you were getting more kills then about 95% of players anyway, so I can't see the problem. When the patch comes out you'll just get EVEN more no doubt.

I can see people who have difficulty doing more than wounding a plane or using an LA-5 or something getting pissed off with not getting the kill allocation, but I thought the better players (your good self included) generally finish the enemy off before they hit the deck.

I think this boycotting till the patch comes out is not doing online any favours, as people will see less activity and leave for good.

Come on dudes, the game ain't that broken that it deserves a boycott! :grin:

ah but cyclone, its not just about the kills system ;), it because of the lack of redouts, and broken P-51 as well.
There is just to few variation in dogfights as it is. Hopefully the redouts will make it just a bit more skill, and less turning :).
Im not boycotting, just dont wanne play this game to death for myself, before it has been properly fixed
