Okay, here's a question...

i've been seein' all of the great looking Name Banners with their aircraft in it, and i was wondering if you could tell me were to get those or what program to make these?

i make me own and i think a lot of other ppl do im using photoshop cs4 used to have (well still have cs2) and its a lot different so im still getting to grips with it :)

You just mean the side-view of aircraft? I came across a hell of a lot of them just googling airplanes :rolleyes:.

I use GIMP, it's free but very effective, almost as good as photoshop. I'd be happy to make you one for you if you wish. :)

I have never heard of this GIMP you speak of. Is it hard for a novice to figure out?

I use photoshop and GIFfun for Apple ofcourse. ;)

Haha. I have the artistic skill of a drunk rabbit, but still I managed to get something going here :). Just mess around with PhotoShop, look up some tutorials, it's not all that hard. I just can't create anything myself, The beautifull wings in my sig were shamelessly stolen and modified :eek:.:|

On/Off topic. Yeah i havent got any large experience with photoshop except Photobucket, you can do some cool tricks with that too!

you can see that i'm a MASSIVE PertrolHead. It is even soo big that i'm not allowed to tell what car were seeing on the road from my Girl Friend?!
(... And she Drives a Porshe...Fantastic......) i even can tell what Year the Car is build and even the Engine or type of engine just by listening to it...

How do you add a picture to your sig? I threw together this one, but dont know how to add it to my signiture. By the way, I just noticed I typoed my screen name. It is supposed to be Tudorp-15, NOT 16... ops... I will have to try and fix that..

First of all, I suggest you make it a bit smaller :P. I think a height of 200 pixels is a nice reference, else your sig will be bigger than your post, kind of annoying. Secondly, what I do is host my image on http://www.fileshack.com and just copy/paste the link in my signature. To get to your signature editor click on Qlinks, near the top of this (or any) page and click 'Edit Signature'.

personally i think it looks fine but if you have to refine it what i would do is make the background to your name transparant so it sort of blends in with the background ? but still i think it looks great as is :)

I'm keeping my current sig very plain. Don't need anything to take away from the good looks of the B-25. :)

Thanks, and yes, I do want to make the name transparent so it blends better. I am kinda partial to the patch. I have always loved pin up girls. Not just because they are sexy, but I just love the era art of them. I had to have one on the patch. Besides, it also gives Kudos to the Nurses of the era that worked to keep the boys alive to fly again. Because I have always had an issue with needles, a nurse once said to me when I was in the Air Force "Awe shut up you big baby. The louder you scream, the more we love it anyway...." Inspiring, lol.... Thought this patch kinda says it all with the same message, lol..

And THAT'S just from a sloppy 3 minute work? .....:shock:.......

Well, under 5 anyway. I didn't time it, but yeah, just a couple minutes, but in all fairness, I did NOT draw the plane in that time. I got that image off the internet. I want to clean up the background, make the name transparent, and do some more work with the patch.. But, yeah, I kinda like the jest of it...
