Someone tested if the Bf-109 stalls at the correct speed?
Do we have the same "bug" in the Bf-109 slats? http://www.il2bugtracker.com/issues/310 That is a very, very, very, undesirable and hateful Bug :-( |

I found that still Merlin engines had RMPs kick at different alts depend of planes and there is need to lower throttle from full postion and drop mainfoild pressure to got smoth engine runinig which is strange to me - it cause lose power. Engine with single stage supercharger should lose manfoild pressure byself with altitude. Also Merlin III from BOB era should have allowed climb settings ( 1/2 hour limit) at 2850 RPMs below 20 000 ft and 3000 RPMS above 20 000 ft. Still there is too much engine power lose above 15 000 ft and above 20 000ft climb rate is lees then 1000 ft/min - nearly minimal climb rate at minimum (near stall ) speed so RL service celling is not possible to reach with steady climb. |
Thanks for the patch, much appreciated.

Wow the hurri its a sweet to fly!, tested it 1 hour before, 2 109 takin a bath on the sea :-P , also it happened some strange thing, i was doinga "scisor" against a 109 when my tail blew up his engine cover , i was like OMG! he is going to have extra refrigeration!

When online, white smoke effects have turned green. Dust, gunsmoke etc. Offline no problem.

Salute Luthier
Thankyou for correcting the Hurricane weights. :D Hopefully this moves this aircraft closer to achieving its correct performance. |
.
The altitude performances of the Spitfire are better also. With the new patch RC2 and a Spitfire MKIa 100oct I have tried and did get to 28100 feet of altitude without any difficulties, without exploding my engine by fiddling with the rudder trim and the pitch mixture radiator opening, here is a picture to attest it (add 1000 mb ); http://s13.postimage.org/4zdxiq547/s...012_223612.png http://postimage.org/image/vx7ukgpr7/ It took me 43 minutes from take of at Upavon to landing at Manston. In some future days I shall do the same with other type of Spitfires. One last remark the folder names of the skins of some planes have change is it not? Could someone give the new correct one?! |
