It would be cool but I don't have the time for that and I think a majority of people including me just want to be able to play together instead of deciding who, when, why someone gets ranked up.

I was just suggesting it as more of a squadron feel, we dont really need ranking up at all. It just gives a little more depth. Its basicaly what we have now but with an extra position (the extra position for ingame so there is one overall leader not two flight leaders in a match with two flights). It shouldnt be too hard to set up :D

I'll bump my butt up to Alpha Flight if you want... it seems we tend to be online at roughly the same time and I know we're both in the states.

I did hop into an arcade match yesterday and was owned. It seems there are levels that you achieve as you play online, giving you greater strength (or perhaps weapon strength). I think I read about it elsewhere on these boards. Either way, we'll need to get online soon and participate in some sim matches. It would be nice to lock down a map for VAS members only, but I'm not sure it's possible.

Let me know about Alpha Flight. If not, no biggie. ;)

Same three for me too, plus a couple of others, manintrees is due to be in my flight group too, perhaps they are also 360 owners and have opted to play the game in that format instead?

Can I ask why are we still adding more flight groups, didn't we stop a few weeks ago? If the above members have gone AWOL we may have trouble filling the spaces in the existing ones.

We are lucky to have Edal86 in our Squadron he is a very good wingman he stuck to me like glue while I was doing barrel rolls and loops and I was chasing somebody too, this guy nows how to fly.

As for last night, it did seem like you were having a few issues with the LA-5. I've not flown it myself on BoP, although when I saw that you'd chosen it I expected a fairer fight. I remember the LA-5's and 7's dominating most aircraft in MP on IL-2 on the PC.
Anyway, i'll look forward to a rematch some time!

Well the plane will not stall and spin out but it just won't turn tight that was the last time I flew it. Well it is good to see we have another pilot that used to fly mp on the original.

Awesome, oh how many bombs does the B-17 carry?

Standard loadout in realistic, is approx 42 x 250lb bombs

Just unlocked the 16 x 500lb bombs

Then next i think is 8 x 1000lb (think its 8) might be 4

My memory is a little hazzy but i think thats it

And you can drop 8 bombs each go

Edit: and last is 2 x 2000lb bombs

What I have figured out and thought I would share with all of you is if we can pick someone that we are flying with to host a room that person will always host the room during our flying sessions and this can change but we need to figure this out when we start playing.



But after we get a person to host, once the game ends always go back to custom match, after the match is over the host will create a new session and when you go back to custom match you will see the game in custom match that way you can just join and we won't have to keep sending out invites until this (if ever)gets fixed.

yes thats fine with me, i also use the custom match to find the game again to make it easy on the host

errrm i cant say exactly but, it took some time but time went really fast and before i knew it i had it

I will be happy to test your skills my friend I prefer simulation but realistic will do if that is your comfort zone. Same goes to you haitch40 or any one else. Competition finally :)

It actually took us twice as long as it will take you because we were 2 people rotating a loser. but now, since spitfire23 needs not to win, you can win all the time. Once you earn the 50 completed strike missions trophy you will now that you are close :) I recommend that you use the JU87D-3 so that you unlock the fw 190 f-8. If you dont have it yet, use the ju 87 b2 because 5 wins with that gets you a ju 87 d-3. ( cant remember how many times I typed that now lol)
