I'm not quite that old yet, perhaps the online medical degree would do me some good.

Realism Vs Sim

Yup, its a good game, just not a Simulation, least not to the level of IL2 or DCS, etc.

In my opinion.

First old Ace combat games on PS1 were fun...Then later they lost all the correct if not completly accurate flight dynamics.
However they had realy good set pieces and senarios.
So accuracy reality dos,nt allways mean fun.:-P
Just hope its good fun and JUST real enough.
We have clod to adjust the level of realism in your sim.
Stll I am sticking with Clod and Rise of flight atm.
But allways open to other sims and or games.
For a bit of relaxation You cant beat a bit of Skyrim.
Just waiting for The Ye old flying machine addon lol:rolleyes:

haha

They were underpowered. (same engine as the much maligned F4F-3A but worse as at least the F4F3A had a supercharger) and had a tendency to ground loop.

Nice guns though, 2 x 20mm Hispano cannon and 4 x .303 which meant they saw extensive service as a close ground support aircraft.

The supercharged version actually compared favorably with the Mk V Spit but by then Mustangs were available and the Mk V was already being superseded so only one supercharged variant was ever made.

Because of the whole NDA thing I'm not gonna say mucha bout the game BUT I got it all downloaded and installed last night. Didn't have time to hook up my stick and pedals. Just doing some test flights with the mouse and keyboard and it looks GREAT and runs very smooth on high/max settings.

Can't wait to get some free time to really delve deeper.

I was so excited when I opened my mail and saw "war thunder" on the topic, I thought I finally got my beta key, it just was a new video.

But now everyone can join starting from 19.99$ for starter package, I would but it's pretty lame the subscription is only for couple of weeks, I prefer waiting for my invite.
