Ah got ya now. Not sure if that is the case across all the i7's but will take that into account. Not a big deal, CPU overclocking is very easy nowdays. And will keep a note of the current settings.

Hi im new to the forums as you can obviously tell i had to register because i wanted to ask the devs what an earth was they thinking when they released this so called flight simulator. I mean were is the rest of it? sort of like reading a book and finding out the last 2 pages our missing. Surely you cant be selling this to the steam community without any warnings of its major flaws that are game breaking in my opinion. Constant ctd/stutter/invisible bombers with icons/flying though trees and buildings/low fps i could go on and on about how many things are not working. I mean surely you must feel embarrased about what your doing to innocent customers how the hell can you run a company like this? As a gamer i have played many games over the years and admit ive bought some that havent been finished in certain ways but my god never one this bad its still in alpha and you sell it on steam for £29.99 i dont know how you can sleep at night knowing you have done this to your fanbase. So as a paying customer i have the right to know what your going to do about it because this is just not acceptable

I'm quite sure the developer would never have released the sim in this state unless they had no other choice. It was either release what was done, and finish it later, or cancel it. There plan obviously wasn't to scr#w us over. If it was they would have shut down the development soon after release. Luthier apologized for the state of the sim and I doubt he thought the sim would be delayed this long and require a rewrite of the graphic engine to gain the much needed performance.

What do you mean by "losing the overclock"?

hi Bob,

I meant no offence. I suppose after a year of all the threads and discussions (aka arguments) we're likely to get a bit tetchy over someone suddenly coming through the door firing both barrels. There are many many posts flaming CoD and we've just heard it all before. Its coming good slowly. We just need to be patient - which suggestion will no doubt drag this thread down into another ragfest about why we should/shouldn't. Most threads get dragged into that unfortunately :(

You'll also gather from several posts that there a small number of posters that are a right pain in the ar$e to the point they get banned and re-appear in some other disguise.

Anyway, as the other guys are saying you need at least 4Gb RAM, I would say 6Gb. Your 250 card is on a par with the minimum spec 8800, see here:
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...ew,3107-7.html
so you won't get great results from it :(

Your i7 will be fine and you can overclock it with 4-6Gb RAM (I don't know that there is a RAM limit for overclocking?).

Threads started on a negative note seem to continue tirelessly.

This thread is locked, because will just enable a bunch of guys to get themselves worked up and get banned.
