The propellors?
You want the propellors?! YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE PROPELLORS!!! Lol, be careful what you ask for... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6gpdDhsm0w http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkH7I4QZB_A Watch these video's at your own risk. I will not be held accountable for any epileptic seizures or for any injuries to heads hitting keyboards due to falling asleep that these video's may cause. |
Nice Les, but forgive me if I didn't watch it all! :)
Only just noticed in my own clip that a bug is revealed quite graphically. In the external views, the prop disappears behind the clouds!! Now that looks weird. |
Yep agreed, you can clearly see in the 109 video how the clouds sit in front of props looks quite gay tbh, its these small porblems that show there is a lack of organization behind the scenes.

Ahh, finally found this post!
Here's my promised demo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kcCWt7rUNQ Note that the axe on the joy in inverted in respect of the Spitfire and hurricane ones, and that the first external view is accelerated because pitch is changed veeery slow! |

The new prop effect is great (I've been around plenty of RL props), but it should be independent of frame rate, and dependent only on RPM's. Currently, if you get into a graphically intensive scene, the prop will flicker at regular intervals, despite a constant RPM. Move away from that scene, and the prop will smooth out again, ergo it seems tied somehow to framerate.

i've got problems with tearing at low rpm so i turn Vsync on and the problem gone...but i get a hit on frames:confused:
after 2 hours of flying i check out the Vsync and the tearing gone-the frames up again what is going on.... |
