I am East Coast, USA (Georgia) and Steam already downloaded and installed the patch no problems.

I did not launch the game or tell Steam to download it or anything... Steam did it all on its own automatically.

Is it not possible to have a download copy (just as in the case of the beta test)?

I hate when Steam is trying to sort out things inside MY hard disk.

Don't know if it's even possible. I deactivated the auto-update feature already, but it gets re-enabled everytime.

Thank you.

Looking forward to flying online this weekend!

Was worried about getting the patch here in the U.S. since the game is not officially released here, but steam downloaded and patched the game for me, no problem. :)

I have just tried the desktop composition thing on my system with the beta patch and things are much improved!!! :D

Thankyou and your team for all the hard work!!!

How is this possible? Steam links on desktop, other than windows links for applications are handled like web links, so no options here. I can't get rid of the link arrow in the icon's lower left corner, too.

With XP SP3 I still have texture corruption and missions still stop loading at 95% with grass on...
