I had the same problem when the game wasn't updated. But in my second playthrough I didn't have that problem, maybe I'm lucky.

I tried Enkeli save and the problem still exist. Not sure if he play before or after the patch.
Also one more bug in these final fight, you got your Mana buff up to the level of the Allied Heroes you command

game crashed during dragon fight in Verlon wastelands ........any fix???

Quest Luckless Hunter bugged.

On Tungsinn island you need to kill a black unicorn.
After killing him, the quest is not updated and if you go back to the hunter no dialog box appear.

I'm playing mage in impossible, and I can't kill Loki, the game always crash in the middle of the fight.

Not exactly a bug..

Fronta's Tent in Tungsinn got no "money simbol" on top.
When you take a quest from her or you need to visit her to complete a quest, there is not visible mark on the tent: you waste some time to retrace quest this way.

Try not using Rage abilities and spell that make Loki "move" from is starting cell.

Probably works as intended but still annoying:
The path a horseman will charge is not displayed (rather the shortest route to the targeted unit is shown), meaning they sometimes move to visible traps.

Any thoughts on this? I saw one other note stating that they turned on Autocombat and it was resolved, this did not work for me. Help would be appreciated.

I wish I did. Crashes are really hard to troubleshoot unless they happen to everyone at the same point. This thread is more about finding mechanics bugs (like no horn from the unicorn - that one was reported a while ago for the record). All I can think of is to upload the save where it happens and then point a moderator like Sneaksie or Nike-IT to it.
