Well he was not a member of this forum so I have no idea how he found us, and he will not answer my e-mails or contribute, so JestersTear has shown a lot more interest in being a member of our squadron.

Errr ill have a go. Im not promising anything though as the way i have animated it uses layers and it could be hard to impliment it with the existing layers.

I'm not sure about the new patch, I think the eagle is too big. Also the ace makes sense for V.A.S. but the flaming eagle gives the impresion of being shot down, kamikaze, or dive bombing. (imo)

Because no one from those flights have said they want to be flight lead.

Please look at the flight list, if you wish to be flight lead the first people of the flights to post they wish to be flight lead will receive flight lead.

hi guys, i see a lot of great sigs. good job. as for the flight leader of hotel flight. who is up 4 it??? i'm not a good choice , because of my worktimes. i have to work on wednesday evening and i'm not always available every evening. but i'll try to be online as much as possible.

id do it if i got the game, just seems like a lot of responsibilty.

id happily do it as like a technical job, so its totally equal, just im designated as leader if you know what i mean :S

I'm just guessing here, but there may be some reluctance on the part of some flight members to volunteer for flight lead without knowing what would be expected of them, that said unless any of my flight team really want the job, I will put myself forward for the role.

Well this squadron is definitely not going to be extreme and hardcore as some of the other ones out there. Some will kick you out if you can't make it to practice one night. So as far as job expectations for flight leads, I can't think of any right now.

I don't think it is going to be to overwhelming.

Just curious about your whole little V.A.S. setup. Will the different flights have the same planes, as in will all the planes in Alpha flight or Delta flight fly the same plane together, or will I see Alpha and Delta flight (including the others) all flying a variety of planes in the flights?

The flights won't have dedicated planes. Just what everyone wants to fly. I set them up with four man flights because of multiplayer.

Ok, so I won't be seeing Alpha flight etc. flying with two Spitfire Mk IXs and two P-51Bs for example? But they obviously will switch from time to time.

You might see Alpha flight fly with a spitfire or yak 3 (my choice)and three 109's if thats what the other three want to fly.

Ok, just wanted to get that straightened up. (It's not that late, but long days of nothingness sorta wears your brain down :P)

Our squadron is just to have fun with people we know from here. I don't want things to be to hardcore.:-P

It was my favorite plane in the orginal IL-2 I had a black one with flames on the nose. Killer!
