Does anyone else think that the 109F looks a bit "plastic" compared to the other aircraft?
I think its just because of the skin, the LaGG looks great in comparison. |
Thanks B6.

the 109F
GREAT JOB ON THE EXTERNAL MODEL |
I am not sure but based on Bf-109F-2_06.jpg that 109F's boundary layer seperator ducting is missing from the 3D model.
This was present on the 109F (deleted on 109G) and was a seperate ducting that picted up the boundary layer at the radiator inlet and passed it through above the radiator without disrupting the flow (and thus reducing radiator drag and increasing its effiency) Compare: http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/attachm...6&d=1340978537 http://109lair.hobbyvista.com/techre.../f_airflow.jpg http://109lair.hobbyvista.com/techre...g/f_hrabak.jpg |
Thank you, great patch.
And thank you for the "little" details, like the Jericho horns ;) S! |
