Check the edit I did to my post Vulcan, two minutes after you after you quoted from it. Is it not the hawker Fury? Second edit: oh well at least like FOZ I knew it was Hawker lol. Damn hard to keep track with all these edits huh lol

dont really know just looks like its on a carrier.
Edit:yeah odds on that!, Nah not a Fury that was single seat and had fairing (think thats the word) on the undercarrage.

.

Knew it was hawker, it has that distinct hawker look to it.

i know what you mean a sort of traditional approch to design.

Robotic Pope 12-20-2009 04:29 PM

just dug up a picture of a fury by the way, No wonder I thought it was a fury, its vertualy identicle to a Mk1 fury just with two seats not one.

Vulcan607 12-20-2009 04:31 PM

yeah lol i had to check myself when you said fury so i had a picture of a fury and what it is next side by side to see if there was any difference

Robotic Pope 12-20-2009 04:51 PM

ok. Is it an Audax? Even cheating and looking at pictures makes me not sure. Almost all the planes Hawker developed in the 30's seem to look the same, just scaled up or down.

Foz was of course correct, it was a sea vixen on fire.

Vulcan607 12-20-2009 05:33 PM

nah sorry not that either.

Oh my days! lets try the Hawker Hardy then. No joke, they are identical.

Edit: Ahhh no wonder they all look the same. Audax, Demon, Hardy, Hind, Osprey, Hartbees, Fury and Hector are all just different versions of the Hawker Hart.
