Gold model airplanes were found in the 1950's and have been classified as Mayan Idols or children's toys. These models are very accurate representations of advanced jet aircraft. Modern model builders copied the objects to make a full scale radio controlled model and the scale model flew with great stability.

Definately looks likes a hawker aircraft. Possibly a hawker nimrod, hart, osprey?
