Bump :)

I believe its because Luthier said one and a half months ago "The Patch" would need two to three months to be ready.
The people believing him are waiting and the ones without patience are elsewere.

actually with the latest patch i can fly over land on medium/low settings which is good for my gt9600 with relatively low lag in places, well chuffed.

the map still needs a bit of optimism, pity its not photorealistic, but well done i can play the game at least.

single player campaign is awful, needs some professional polish

Would love to see an update tonight please luthier. And no more banjos please. While that was funny for a day those of us still a bit annoyed we bought a product that was not as advertised may mutiny.

And whatever do u plan to do with those wonderful models made for project galba? That mustang must see the light of day.

OK, not a flame post but since you raise the issue, Luthier gave no timescales in his Roadmap:
http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showpos...02&postcount=1

On 3rd June he did say 'several months' for the sound bug fix:
http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthr...905#post292905
repeated on 24th June:
http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showpos...29&postcount=6

and on 25th July 'sound progressing well' suggesting it may not take as long as first thought unless of course it was purely a jokey reference to the banjo playing rather than the banjo playing being a reference to how good they feel about progress but he did say the banjo playing represented their 'general mood':
http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showpos...41&postcount=1

No mention of 'the patch' but I doubt we will see it before the sound is ready. We are of course two months down the road from the 'several months' statement. I wonder what 'several months' means to Luthier and whether that has been changed by their 'progressing well' and 'general mood'.

IMHO it really would be nice to hear another 'Very short development update' but lets not start that tit-for-tat argument again.

Its impossible to give exact dates on completely new software production. Everyday you add code its a lottery on what happens next. It certainly won't happen quick enough for many, but I'm sure when the development team has something substantial to report we'll be one of first to know.

I'm not waiting for a patch as I'm sure it will be out eventually. Instead I'm trying to remember if there was ever an apology for what was released as a game.

Not so much an appology but an aknowledgement of it.

The sound system is NOT the most important thing needing to be fixed.

Atm, the offline playing is almost impossible, due to broken Radio Commands system, and the bugs associated with AI behavior.

THAT is the thing most needing a fix.
