LOL One of my favourites!

I wonder how difficult it would be to sample the voices from a copy of the video and substitute it into the R/T voice files?

Cheers!

( and thanks for putting a smile on my dial this morning! )

Hope Battle Of Britain includes the following speech pack-

Monty Python's Banter sketch-

(Scene: a wartime RAF station)

Jones: Morning, Squadron Leader.

Idle: What-ho, Squiffy.

Jones: How was it?

Idle: Top-hole. Bally Jerry, pranged his kite right in the how's-your-father;
hairy blighter, dicky-birded, feathered back on his sammy, took a waspy,
flipped over on his Betty Harpers and caught his can in the Bertie.

.......

Thanks Richie

watched this sketch a thousand times and never looked at the Hurricane at the start!

To think it was only 30 years after the real Battle Of Britain....IL2 has now been going for 10 years already!

I still prefer the Python sketch - wartime 'funniest joke in the world'
"over 80,000 times as powerful as Britain's great pre-war joke"

Prehaps i've got time to watch all 4 series before BoB is released...

In fact I used google to research it.
The translation of igromir's hp[http://igromir-expo.ru/] is pretty useful.

I think you could say:

- Igromir is for the RU market only
- igromir is a rather small booth

Conclusion: Western magazines don't give a flying f about it.

All those infos were ready at your fingertips.

I think this might be a Russia only thing since IL-2 has much better name recognition there than in the North American market. IL-2: Battle of Britain might confuse people here in N.A., "IL-2 what's that?" Meanwhile, "Storm of War" has a nice ring to it.

Just a thought.

Sure is an option, but it would create hell for the marketing guys, especially if you consider later add-ons.

If they go for IL2 as an umbrella brand, they could use the rep of the original IL which is in fact very well known.

Sorry SaQSoN, on behalf of the community.

You don't have to be, really. I know well, there are people who take everything around them over-serious and I am not one of them. :)
