Hope this gets fixed if the sound is missing in cockpit.

There's no real reliable way (for me anyways) to get maximum turn and avoid stalling without listening for that sound.

This really needs to be address or the sim mode becomes somewhat crippled.

also, I find it strange that the engine sounds the same from 0% to 100% throttle. WEP will change the sound but otherwise it doesnt.

I did some landing practise of the Dover level (played thru both levels on arcade first  for the 5th time, not the last, still counting to september 4th:rolleyes:) and on my approach I set throttle to 0%, no change in audio untill airspeed was like 190km/t then the engine sound started dropping.

Anyone else thought about this?

I noticed that too, but didn't want to complain about too many things at the same time. :)

Yeah I noticed that also...kinda a let down for me also. I keep feeling the need to complain about alot of other little things but I'm just trying to take it as it is for now. I know things can't always be perfect but it's just mind boggling to me how a gamebreaker like the shuddering effect was left out.

Technically, it is possible - we have such event reported by flight model.
However, we've switched this option off in the game (at least in Arcade/Realisitc, don't remember about Sim).
It is really confusing for most players, and was reported as a bug by all players: press, focus group, players on public events. It would definetly be a bug in final platformholder's QA.

Thanks for the info.

I think we will have to wait for the game to test this out since the Spitfire has big wings. Let's see how a 109 handles it.:)

I've been playing with the gamepad and I seem to have much more control in simulation mode now. Just trying to avoid getting over excited is the hard part.:)

I actually don't not sure about this one. In wasn't reported as a bug, of course, and guys here told that everything is ok, on their systems.
In any case, need to check with a team this one.

Any new infomration on the sound effect problem?
