Add another to the long list of people prematurely predicting the death of COD. They've all been wrong for the last five years and I would suspect they will continue to be wrong as long as the game engine keeps evolving. It appears the Sequel will include the Channel Map which will benefit from all the feature improvements in the next release. It will be interesting to see what changes/additions are made in the developers plans with the pending announcement.

Would the following users form an orderly queue at their local supermarket, specifically the delicatessen counter, where they may take a ticket and wait for an uncommonly large slice of rather gamey humble pie...

Why? I think Rise of Flight is great! It's not my fault you whiners killed CoD.

It will be interesting to see how long it tales you to starting whining about the new sim they are planning.

Who's Truth?

1C staggered along the cliff edge for over a year trying to make it work but no-one could know they would fail or give up. That could only ever be unsubstantiated speculation.

Those of us that followed 1C MG for the past ten years dared to hope it would come out right and now the morbid speculators will celebrate the failure and gloat.

It was always safe for the naysayers to say it will fail because if that turned out to be right they could blow there own trumpets and if they turned out to be wrong no-one would care and they would slip quietly away.

1C's and Olegs' vision fell short of success but at least they tried. What we are left with is RoF with WWII aircraft in stunning Dx9!! (that's irony for those that don't understand)
