Well I'm sorry LAZ, but Bearcat is right. Re-read your opening post, sit down and ask yourself could you have expected any response at all from 1C? :confused:

Trust me, developers will deliberately ignore a thread like this.

Well... Bearcat says what has been said and I'm with him.

I started MS CFS 1 & EAW, then left and plays another games (FPS, RPG etc.)
Then bought CFS 3 and spent time with it.

Then bought IL-2 and that's way I am. Now have IL-2, IL-2:FB, AEP, PF & IL-2 Sturmovik 1946. When said that hunger grows when eat - that's right.

I don't have count how much money has gone with this sim - new rig and components, joysticks and other stuff, TrackIR, books and DVD:s.

And I'm waiting too BoB:Sow but don't whine :cool:

Bearcat -tell someone who cares. Going on in a rude manner because you don't agree with me is unnecessary, it will get you nowhere.
Everyone has the right to express their opinion without being attacked and called names. IL2 is tired and error ridden and is now open to hacked f/ms. Bring on SoW, the sooner the better.

I don't think we are owed anything, but it's simply good business practice to keep your customers in the loop. It's one thing to work on a new project, then present it finished as fait accompli, but once you've announced it and shown pictures/vids to keep the faithful interested, it only makes sense to continue with the odd report on progress. Doesn't need to be great detail, though some will crow for that. Just a "We've reached our February milestone, release still looking like Q4." That sort of thing.

A little bit goes a long way.

And there is YOUR mistake. If you would have ignored their opinions, why shouldn't you be able to ignore other peoples opinions here? Why don't you just restate your question or leave the topic, since you knew from the beginning that Oleg wouldn't come here to hold your hand no matter how rude you get.

IL2 is a mess. IL2 is trying to do what it was never designed to do. It was obsolete long ago. SoW engine is long overdue to replace the IL2 engine. You have your opinion and I have mine, live with that - you have no other choice.

What I do not understand with these sorts of opinions: If somebody doesn't like that game at all, why don't they just leave it? Nobody forces people to play IL2!
And posting comments on some peoples frustration with the game surely doesn't help anybody and it even less will speed up the process of finishing a sequel.

Don't get me wrong, I'm really, really glad most of us live in a democracy, which gives everybody the right to have his own opinion, but I am also glad that in democracy this right ends, when it does offend and deminish the rights of other people.
So, while having an opinion and stating it is perfectly democratic, writing it on your banner, marching through a bunch of dedicated fans and flaming them for it, is not.

Some people should bear that little difference in mind, when stating complains about democracy and rights for free will.
