It's from Gogamer via Amazon , the very same " Manufactured in Australia " version:

Guess you got are a lucky one. Gogamer said that they had gotten emails back from most of the people who bought from them. I will be emailed tomorrow if they have a new key for me or if he will just refund my money. Hopefully I will get a key that works.

My response from GoGamer:

Robert,
We do apologize for the inconvenience regarding this duplicate cd key for this new release game Il 2 Cliffs of Dover. This seems to be a big problem as many customers are saying the cd keys are duplicated. We are working through email with the manufacturer for solutions on this issue and we will let you know what solution they forward to us. This could be a problem with STEAM as this game releases next week and that could be why the cd key is not going through.

Thank you

Simon

Steam contacted me and got me going. Yeah, just installed the game and I am getting an update. Once the updating is done I will give it a try. Going to be a late night,

Thanks for the post. I have the same problem as you. How did Steam contact you and what did they do to get you running?

I went to Steam customer support and filed a work order with them. (just click on your account from steam window) They give you the details of how to do it. Basicly you title it, invaid key or reset to. You need to type in what the problem is. You will have to send them a photo copy of your reciept and Key. I could not attatch mine right off the bat. After I did the work order and I got the email replay, I went back in and attached it. I then got another email asking me to write in ink on the paper with the key the work order number and make another copy and attach it to the work order and I did. Then I got an email saying they have added the game to my folder and gave instructions on how to install it from the cd instead of downloading it. Worked like a charm. Still waiting on the updates to finish.

I heard from Steam today as well. Just finished the download. I expect that anyone who submits the required items will be running shortly. Two days for the first reply and then one day later I was notified that the game could be downloaded or installed from the disc. Now to notify GoGamer that all is well.

Wouldn't you think that Steam would know who you are, already? CoD includes Steam, so they should be able to help you without all of the copying and attaching of things.

I got an email from GoGamer acknowledging the problem. They are working to get things right.

Mine is to arrive 5/25.
