Melkor, I use Adobe Photoshop CS4, and the results are pretty good I think. Finnally I completed my Pete 379 mod, so now you can enjoy the real spirit of 379! I modded only the red skin b/c I don't like other skins, they aren't "peterbilt style". The red now looks less purple and the grille is 10 times better! ENJOY

Nice!!!!!
i think hes talking about modding the skins for the trailer
in order to do that you need to find the texture file for the trailer as you do for the truck

Yes, I told him you guys are working on, or completed these skins, and he should contact you guys for assistance via PM. Melkor, I know you did some trailer work so maybe you're better equipped to aid him in this area. As for the truck itself, I know all of you have different approaches, and programs to give him a hand to find the one that best suits him. :)

Yeah, modding trailers is possible but useless, I think default skins are pretty good
A screenshot of my Peterbilt 379 mod that you can find in this thread, so yua can choose if it's worth downloading or not:

I don't think so. I've seen some nice ones on other sites that look good. It all matters on how imaginative the creator is, or even if the creator makes actual trailers with known product names, and designs. It's not completely without merit.

So let's just give those that want to do it, or explore it the proper "how to" instructions, file locations, and programs that with help them create their desires. Maybe this will draw other creative people, and we'll have a bunch of nice looking trucks & trailers. Don't discourage them for wanting to try.

Just like what Melkor is saying in post #90. Thank you Melkor for writing that

Do you have a blank trailer that I can borrow and edit?
