EDIT: I downloaded and installed 296.10 driver...but same problem. And my DirectX is the newest. I have GeForce Gt240 card.

+1, I have the same bug!
After the integrity check in steam, when 30 file had been changed back, and the game shows the 1.5.xx again, it works normally. Re-paching with the new files and boom, black boxes.

Missing all radio message sounds in the 1st bomber intercept mission for the Spitfire for the first 5 minutes of the mission, but they cut in once the bombers are spotted.
