Hmm yea, but the main problem is NOBODY getting the kill atm (exept some times) when the player crashes, wich happens Fast if you damage a wing greatly or having intense dogfights tree level.

Its like being a sniper in BF1943 Headshot or no kill.

And its to bad anyone hardly plays sim.

Yeah I didn't consider part? But I have gotten some kills online, not much because the first two were against my friend, and his plane spun in. The last one though, I did get a kill.

And I'm in the same boat, it's just been me and my friend playing sim. But he's been working (same place I work).

Very few people will actually buy this game. The game is very, very niche, and appeals to very, very few people. I was going to buy it, but as we got close to release I lost interest in it, and decided not to.

^ I think a good amount of people will actually buy this Dennis.

Currently my multiplayer experience has been much, much better than what other people have reported here. A lot of good things, but some bad things as well:

1- I have a hard time finding matches, the most players I've ever been in a dogfight with is 6. Most player on team battle was 4 :(. I have yet to find a match of capture airfield or strike, but I haven't been searching that hard yet.

2- When I do find a match however, people will score kills at least once or twice every few minutes (my record is 7 kills). Usually I guess it just depends on the players you are playing with.

3- I have encountered only 2 people who crashed just so I wouldn't score a kill. Most other crashes were from damaged planes and occasional spinning. I do agree however, there should be a penalty for crashing or something of the sort. (the worst part is the number of deaths/crashes isn't even factored towards a players score; a player with 3 kills and 20 deaths is apparently doing better than someone with 2 kills and 1 death)

4- I will also agree that this game won't sell as much as other games being released soon (no surprise here), but I still think a good enough amount of people will buy it. I have heard people say it will be a 'silent hit', but we won't know for sure until a few weeks or more.

6- I have encountered no bugs in MP or SP at all yet, and I have only gotten lag once or twice during MP (and even then it wasn't that bad, usually only for a second or two).

5- About the title of this thread- It should be changed to 'No one plays it online'. The game's great. :)

So then tell me, from what my Gamestop told me, they got about 100 or so copies, all of which are now completely sold out. Not one single copy of Il-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey is at my local Gamestop? So now tell me "Mr. Economics"? Why would a game, with little advertising that I know of, in the city of Los Angeles be sold out?

Could it possibly be that you were wrong, and that even though it is a niche genre, it can still sell very well? (You don't have to say it in every damn post you make. WE KNOW ITS NICHE!)

I don't think you were ever going to buy it. You've been nothing but a troll since you've been on here. Why are you investing so much time and energy making pointless comments on a forum for a game that you obviously don't care about? If you dislike the game so much, then why are you still here?
