Nearly PMPL hehe. Now I have a new image to think of when I hear people complain about vulchers, grassy-ass.

I remember the people in IL2 that complained about vulching aswell.. No vulching allowed would be the same as having trees you can fly through without being damaged.. It just wouldn't "feel" real. It's nice to be under attack. Gives you that feeling of urgency, panic, all the good feelings in life :).

I could have vulched about 10 people last night but I didn't, its very annoying when it happens to you but it is part of the game Adonys :D

I know COD is actually a game, but could you imagine the reaction to the debriefing reports?

"Over enemy airbase, No efective air defences in place. During the sortie I observed aproximately 10 E/A aircaft starting up or preparing to take off, although I had ammunition remaining I refrained from attacking the enemy to give the E/A's a sporting chance."

I think that in Real Life(tm) the pilots superiors would have taken a dim view of that account! :)

Cheers!

+1 !

I like the "vulch only with bombs or rockets" rule (very often used in Il2 46 servers), as in WW2 airbases were often well protected by flak and you could only survive one pass (or not, german 20mm used to scare the sheer out of english ground attack pilots).

Can't the abundance of flak be mimicked with a trigger enabled randomly after a certain amount of time in an area, like a 80mm shell explodes right near your plane if you circle too long around given coordinates?

Thing is with the FLAK of any kind is that it cant be made to hold fire until a certain distance like old IL2. Nor can you change the skill of the gunners. The smallest gun the Brits have is a 40mm Bofors that fires upto 3.5 KM's. The smallest the Germans have is a 20mm...

We need some AA machine guns and to be able to change the accuracy and distance that the guns fire at.

If you dont like getting vulched take off from a rear airbase...

Vulchers

What we need to end the vulching problem is both side have controlable flax: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QArJn...feature=relmfu
After a few long sorties I love to unwind with a bottle of scotch and a little skeet shooting

The amazing thing is ATAG asks for donations so you can get vulched while warming up your engine so they can boost their stats. Sums up pretty well why they are against a proper co-op gui....it would take away from their skill-less vulch sessions where they high five when they exclaim" Wooohooo....vulched another noob!!"..." Nice job Maverick!...Thanks Goose!" lol

That is so much bollocks, it doesn't even warrant the dignity of a response. Pillock.
