I have the beta, it looks nothing like IL-2 and still works better than CloD, and on the subject of that maybe what we should expect is an apology, because even with all it's potential it is not living up to anyone's expectations.

...and it's spelled whining not whigning .

Whining and whingeing are 2 different things but are similar.....like screaming and shouting, whining is often just a noise like a constant high pitch tone, whingeing is using speech in a whiny tone.

jet engines whine.....Cod haters whinge.

What I expect for this Friday?...mmm....Hyperloby HSFX 6 servers

For me IL2 Clod it's a beta-simulator, and we're the exponsors and beta-tester...It's that I think from the day that I purchased this "no finish simulator". No matter for me, I have no hurry, I have the IL2 1946

I expect nothing less but the next Betaupdate or the final verison of the patch.
The Game could be SOOO great and would boost the sales of the sequel to hell and back if it would run as intended. I am supre almost EVERYONE that owns Clod would 100% buy the sequel if CloD would run well in the first place. But as it stands now most people including me stand on the point that they rather punish 1C for the CloD mess instead of buying their sequel.

2) release of patches for the troubled project, which means the contents of the command is usually only possible through the advance allocation of money for new development. In fact, correcting the previous project "eaten through" money allocated to the next. There is next - it means there will be no patches for the previous one, bye.

Given the above, the decision to finish the first full release of the past usually means instant death.

Also, all of the above applies to the gaming industry in general and do not necessarily reflect the situation within 1C.

Can someone analyse this a bit further? Are they taking a risk against the norm, as stated in the last sentence? Are they trying to find middle ground, between fixing this sim and not allocating to many dollars away from the sequel? Can this be detrimental to the possibility of a total fix?

Some of you guys in this industry would be in a better position, than I, to answer these.

So anyway, I've been away from the interweb for a week. Are we expecting something today or does no-one know?
