During the wait I keep on practicing my TO and landings and learning to know the planes solo offline.
Then when we mp is fixed and Luthier patch that will give me double the frames is released I'll be a friggin killing machine...or will atleast know how to get to the fight in an orderly fashion. :-D

And worse: runs IL-2: CloD, one heavy CPU title, with devs trying to extract better performance of multicore CPUs... XP 32 can't compare to W7 in therms of multicorecores usage.

Upgrade your system OS and try again. The time of "XP is better for games and W7 is just a resource hog" is gone... I run Ok CloD now in a system with weak CPU/GPU than yours...

Yes really. I tried Win7 with my old Core 2 Duo with the same rest configuarion and definitly Win XP 32 works for me better then Win7. The only game where Win7 works better is COD probably beacause of DX10.

In other games like old IL2 or ROF Win XP work for me better.

Thats why i stay with XP for now.

can you imagine when you purchase a car and it doesn't perform at all the salesman of that car says ...Look Robin the car it not good at all but when your at the bottom every way is up ...

i probably hit the man in his face hahaha !!!

and you now what it is not only the micro stutters issue , it just don't feel right .

The big difference is, if you cant use your car it is a hindrance, if you cant use CloD it is only inconvenient.

You're right the game is not finnished. Unless you we're one of the Russians who bought it at release, you knew you were buying an unfinnished product.
You knew and bought it anyway. Now you have to be patient. I got the Russian version and knew it was porked. I'll get the US version when it gets released. I'm unhappy about a bunch of things, Steam, it being porked etc etc. There just is not anything else out there with the potential Il2 CoD has. Patience is a virtue. Best of all is I can keep pushing back buying a new computer untill the program is out of Beta. Heck it's summer! I bought a Nikon D7000 and I'm going to enjoy going outside. Come winter the virtual skies over Dover will still be there and in better shape than today.

Because of DX10 and multicore better suport. In DCS series W7 kicks XP in performance too. And if we think that some have headtracking apps and a lot of things running background, I can't see why don't upgrade now to W7 x64. The new titles that REALLY uses multicore CPU will be glad.

Give it a try! IL2 1946 runs with maximum performance in 1/2 core here, isn't benchmark anymore ;)

I have to say, that from an economic perspective, the comparison to buying a new car is major bogus.

First of all, and most importantly, a car is something that constantly looses value. If you so much as sit in a new car, it practically looses value. After a year, you can probably remove about 12000Euros of value from it.

Secondly, a car is nowhere as cheap as a computer game. It's simply not worth getting that worked up over if you're not 100% satisfied, especially WHEN:

The game can only get better, and run better with time..

Find a car that does that (mechanically speaking, while some exclusive cars age like wine, most cars age like milk)

But ROF use mulitcore in my XP 32 very good :)

For now i dont see too much reason to change for Win7 for very buggy and unfinished game like CoD :/

Ever tried selling a game that you activated on your account?

If a car has a problem, it's also returned and fixed.

If roads, tires and fuel would be improved in the same speed computers are, you'd also get a lot faster the longer you have your car. That we have reached a point where transportation can't get much more efficient doesn't mean they were always this way.

Good thing is, the game has a problem, and incase you havn't noticed, it's being fixed, without having to return it.

Well, I'd rather say your computer is your car in this case, that ages etc. The roads are your games, a road is being built here, and it's long and enjoyable. It's just full of "under construction" signs everywhere. If you fail to see those signs, you might be in for a nasty surprise.
