Kind of thought we'd have more than one set of pictures posted by Oleg during the last month in Oleg's News Room. I'm dissappointed. :(

I remember an old game "1942 The Pacific Air War" which allowed this.
On typical missions where you spend a long time on transit to the target you could enjoy yourself flying different positions and different planes in the attack formation.

Once over target, perhaps a torpedo attack on a warship, you could join each attack as it ran in, and whats more if you got shot down you could still finish the mission in a different seat.

This was one of my initial requests for BOB, and it would be great to have as an option. I know that many do not like this idea, and therefore, to have it as an option would be great. I'm tired of flying an hour long flight, just approaching my target, and then being sniped by some random AAA gunner from 5 miles, with his first shot. For this reason, it would be nice to be able to change to another plane, maybe my wingman, and still have a chance at getting to my target. Please, Oleg, make it so!

Sorry to tell you that, but you are missing the important bit here. Whether offline or online, you'll have to access the game code to implement new aircraft and as long as this isn't a 150% secure process you'll never see such tools released, even if Oleg said so. It's my understanding that recent events have had quite an influence on future development in that area for Oleg and his team.

Oleg's updates aren't updates anyway. Showing still pictures and saying they look MUCH better in the game engine isn't much of an update (IMO.) Sounds like we can lump it until they have a beta, and who knows when that will be.

JG4_Helofly do you know that for a FACT????? Do you really know?? We must know. If this is true then I'd be suprised seeing as Oleg has hardly realeased anything about the game at all.
