Some feed back

Beta patch 2

Blanks out my extended screen which I use for vent etc.
Grey text in box is too hard to read if you have shot anyone down etc.
Wheel noise in spitfire in air seems to be back, touch and go to stop it
Vsync for me still only works if aero is on

Rolled back to Beta patch 1 to solve the above except Vsync

On the dedicated server beta 2 was unstable and unpredictable, beta 1 is very stable although some memory leaks noticeable keeps being logged out by steam, currently running beta 1.

have you tried hitting the brakes to stop the wheel noise?

Does not work for me, they just keep a rumbling along with the tumbleing tumbleweed

I have found that holding the brake key (Allied Aircraft) for any amount of time while in air causes me to either climb or dive, depending on joystick position at time (button doubles as talk key)

What I find that works for me regarding wheel noise once I've lifted off is to lightly touch my landing gear to the ground again and the noise stops.

Yes, that's what we've all been doing for a while now. If the noise continues just turn around and run your wheels on the runway again. It only has to slightly touch and it will stop the rumbling. Pain in the ring gear but better than having the noise driving you nuts the entire time.

Instead of going all the way around just lift off slightly see if there is still noise if there is just touch down lightly, noise gone.

1000% better for me. Nvidia gtx 570 in gateway 16 GB ram and intel i7 860 2.8gz . Everything maxed out except ssaa and vsync .Smooth and lag free even over the city houses etc . Glad I didn't buy ATI . lol. I do wish they'd get rid of the external hissing sound on the bf109 though , very annoying , sounds like flaps deploying continously .
