Thats weird :confused: I did my sig on my Ps3 and that worked! I went to it via User CP and looked down the left hand side to find 'edit signature'. Dose that work?

Good morning all, just joined the forum today but have been following the board for a couple of weeks. Really excited for this game and I am a older ps3 user(30 something) that would love to fly with some guys without all the childish cursing and other bs that you get online these days. Also, in preparation for this game I've been looking for a flight stick for ps3. Any recommendations? I've been kinda eyeing the Thrustmaster Hotas but wanted to see what everybody else has or is planning to get.

Welcome! I bit the bullet and purchased the T Master Hotas X, but I have no idea how it works yet. Still waiting for the demo and then I'll be able to check it out. ;) I can tell you, in terms of design and visual appeal, it seems to be the best stick available for PS3 at the moment.

Yeah, I'm thinking the Hotas is the way to go. I'm just waiting for this demo to come so I can grab one and begin flying those unfriendly skies.

Voting for your sig and motto will end on Saturday, out of the 22 members of our forum only 8 of you have voted for a motto and 11 have voted for a sig, since it doesn't look like any more are going to vote the threads will become locked on Saturday August 8th.

On another note everybody needs to add everyone to your ps3 friends list. I think after we fill up Golf flight we will probably quit excepting members for a while unless we get some more people that are as interested and passionate like some of us about this game.

Right click on the patch MY AVATAR and save to your computer then go to the top of the forum page and click Qlinks then click on User control panel, then edit avatar is on the left of the page click on it and then upload the patch from where you saved it to.

nice however its a shame pilots in ww1 would not strafe enemy soldiers because a few suicidal pilots and the war could be won quicker (alot quicker)

How long before others want to move from their assigned flight groups? I can understand friends wanting to be in the same one, but because one sounds cooler than another seems a little shallow.

Hello VAS members, since we still have a couple weeks before we take to the skies, you may want to check out a book I recently read. It's called "Thunderbolt" by Robert S Johnson. It is a great book about a WW2 ace's story. It's an easy read and is sure to get you psyched for BOP.

Practicalities
 

I don't know if anyone has considered some of the practicalites of playing in flight groups which are made up of members spread across different world time zones, it may be after we all start playing that some sort of shuffle of the flight groups may be needed, I'm all for staying within our assigned groups, but how practical that will turn out to be remains to be seen.

We talked about it briefly, but nothing was finalized. I certainly think some changes will be made once the game is released and we can determine who is online when. ;)

@P-51: is there any chance you can take my sig and add the quote to it, similar to yours (but only the quote)? i've wanted to do this for a while, but i don't have photoshop or anything. send me a PM if you can help and we need to swap email addresses.
