OK just checked my conf ini in my English version.I only have a conf.ini in the steam apps,and even though I set Epi filter to off ingame,there was nothing about it in the conf.ini
I manually editted it with 'EpilepsyFilter=0' and my fps went up from:
avg 25 / max 45 / min 4 to avg / 29 / max 53 / min 17

For some reason the line was not added automatically when using the ingame option!

conf.ini in the steamapps or softclub location? Can anyone confirm which is required for offline and is the other relevant?

Conf.ini in the Users\My Documents\1C Softclub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover is the one.

Selecting and or deselecting in the options setting page in game will write the appropriate line to the appropriate conf.ini. Manual edit is not required.

I've been buying and playing for the beginning, I'm getting 22fps,no aa or af, can't change from 1280x1024, very stuttery, big disappointment.

UBIsoft sure has been working hard to make it's PC gaming division go away. With this whole Epilepsy and no propellers thing I might just about be done.

My wife has Grand Mal seizures and if we're concerned about a game she doesn't watch. We make the decision, not some corporate idiot. These aren't commericlas where we're suprised when they pop up. So the propeller not changing is just ridiculous. This was one of the coolest aspects of PROP flying to look forward to. Not some balnd static blur of a propellor. If you guys couldn't figure out a way to allow non-epileptics to turn on proper prop visuals, maybe this isn't the game for me after all. I'm not a rivet counter and don't care about/wouldn't know flight fidelity if it hit me in the head. But proper prop animation was extremely key for the feeling of immersion.

UBIsoft PC division seems to be run by a bunch of brainless fruit-bats.

i have manually edited the EpilepsyFilter=0 line at both :confused:

Disable steam cloud in the game properties. The right file is then the My Docs one.

I had to register just so I could voice my appreciation of this video.
