What kind of serial does it require? Do you have normal boxed game, or is it some internet site download?

I purchased the gamersgate.com digital english copy and the serial key that they gave me is no longer working.

When i try to start the game, a window pops up asking me to activate the game, which is weird because i've been playing the game for awhile now.

well, this patch wasn`t ment for and even tested on gamersgate version.
This patch works only on boxed versions of Necro. Online game-shops often use their own copy protection system or game`s file structure, which is your case.

We will have to create seperate patch for gamersgate (and other downloadable) versions of Necro. (i`m working on it)

Doh, I didn't see the important message at the bottom of your thread post for the patch.

Where in the game menu can I find a hint which game version is currently running? I´m not sure the patch 1.1 was installed correctly and want to check back on that. Moshno spasibo.

I don't think it's written anywhere (I not 100% certain either). But I'm sure the size of my 1.1 patched exe is 5 992 448 bytes (5 852kb in explorer). For version 1.00 the size in explorer is, from memory, 5 7xxkb.

Contra, as long as the patch for your version is in development, contact gamersgate support for new serial, I think if you describe the situation they will help.

What do I actually have to do to get an answer on any of my questions? Don´t get me wrong, I certainly apprecciate the community´s attemps to assist me but in a tech suppport forum I usually expect some professional help from those, who wanna make money with their games.
