12.11 running quite sufficiently and has enormeousfps boost in bf3. Even with clocks around 1ghz the game runs faster than on a 680 with its boost. On my "older" version of the hd7970 with my watercooling and clocking it to 1250 mhz stable, it kicks bitt and running circles around nvidia currently.
Although I am still a small fanboy of nvidia the card shows, that this is currently the best to go! The games, where ati lost are also same with overclocked versions I have to say: This years winner is ati. And I personally doubt, that the big kepler really hits the market for consumers. And first test prooved, that the big kepler seems not to perform very good in games in its current versions.
It was an interesting year and I personally hope, that ati gets good sales results for their approach. Sure they will have to move forward and away from some old characteristics, but for this year, the old techniques won. Awaiting much money for ati to perform giod competition to nvidia next year. :)
Quite confident with this driver so far
