Blacksix, I know you make the missions for the team, do you know if the COOP system will be addressed in a CLOD patch to come?
Please look here... http://www.il2bugtracker.com/issues/51 and here... http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=31176 Thanks. |

I feel the Dark Ages may be coming to an end,

Not quite....nobody asked if there are still CTD's when wearing green socks, I would like assurances.

Regarding the CTD we experience in our version now online I'm pretty sure they have fixed it as it seems to be related to texture loading that has been rewritten. I've been able to recreate the memory leak by switching skins on an aircraft, but only after flying one or more online sorties and doing it after being back on the ground after some action (and other textures/skins being loaded?). But not every time... Then it happens other times online too but it seems related to texture loading too as I at some occasions have found "half" skins after a crash just after the catching an enemy aircraft (maybe with a home made skin?)... I have reported these to Ilya ages ago with dumps and logs and he has responded back that they where looking at it for the patch so no new news... Then it seems there where other problems that has caused CTD:s so I guess there has been many leaks - but the fact that the texture loading routine now is rewritten and runs on a separate thread sounds good! No more stuttering when users with funky home made skins join an online session either ;) I really would like to have an option to disable user skins and got a response from Ilya that they may include that... /Mazex |
Good News
