OK Feurerfalke,
If what you say is accurate, I concede your points. I thought Oleg was out from under Ubi-shaft. Apparently I was wrong about that. So we're all like the Maytag repair man. We sit and wait. At any rate I'm glad I was never one of those to howl and complain about any mis-steps made by 1C. Don't want to endanger my chances at being selected as the winner of the 2008 "Prince-of-a-guy" award. :D
keep on truckin!

Good points

I had hoped that Oleg was more in control of the information coming out about this game, but it makes sense Feuerfalke, that UBI has put a lid on the updates because of legal issues.

Can't believe that some people would sue the makers of a game just because they did not include a plane that they wanted. But that also makes sense if you read some of the posts over at the "UBI zoo".

Still would like a small video. Just to make the waiting time pass a little quicker ;-)

Well, the downside of the informations usually is, that the time to the release grows even longer, because you finally want to PLAY it.

That's why in the history of IL2, but also for other games, like GhostRecon, Rainbow6, SilentHunter, etc. UBI always put a hold on any information until a certain point, just to start a massive campaign when the release was in reach (maybe like less than 6 month away).

Considering statements that were made here and in the Zoo, I'd expect some similar strategy for BoB.

I guess one major reason for that is the treatment of the all-mighty-self-proclaimed-premium-customers, who really think they can *demand* something, because they buy the game... Thank you very much... not...

to quote Ben Grimm: "well brush my teeth and call me Smiley!" By which I mean the realization sinks further in that such a video is more a pipedream than ever now. :( I guess I can't complain. I bought IL2_1946 even though I don't have a 'puter to run it on. Maybe SOW will be out by the time I do get one. ;)
