Delighted with this update on the upcoming patch. Great video:

The 109's sounded great.
The 110's sounded great.
The locomotive sounded great.
The Spits and Hurries sounded........what? Locomotives??????

Luthier, tell us you're saving the Merlin sounds as "best for last"! LOL

PeterPanPan 08-30-2011 04:33 PM

Superb. Love the external sounds of the 110s flying overhead near the end.

Great! Sounds very Messerschmittish!

Love the train too. Now some Merlins and Radials at the same quality!

Hope for a realistic in-cockpit sound of other A/C, IIRC we had once in the old Il-2 some very cool "WOOOMPPP" when other A/C passed. Was replaced by the sonar-sound unfortunatly.

Luthier, nice to hear from you.;)

See guys, they can do it, I really hope this will get revenge on some critics of the game. The colours look really good and the new startup sound for the Bf-109 is really nice.

Im itching to get onto the map editor and plane editor and see if we can create some really nice looking Europe maps, and possibly a Pacific - if it will allow us to do that.

Great to know that you guys at 1C havnt left us for the sandy shores of L.A (luthier)

I kid, really pleased with this, look great keep up the good worrk and good luck

Sounds awesome, and the game looks amazing. +1 to Ali's post. Still a way to go, but this really is a significant step chaps.
The terrain colours look so much better. Bravo!
