Spitfire over Dunkirk campaign updated. Here is a good opportunity to welcome its author to our forums http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showpos...4&postcount=15

Quick question re these campaigns - are they all of the 50-100 + planes variety? The German campaign I downloaded was great, but a bit clunky due to the sheer number of aircraft used!

Campaigns with a somewhat more limited size of mission might make all this hard work flyable by low-end users too. :)

I can not answer this question, sorry. Try asking in each campaign dedicated thread.

Yes good idea for a thread -

Thanks for all your ideas and work on pushing campaigns Ataros

My very first campaign ' Glory Is The End ' will see you flying with 43 Squadron RAF ' Fighting Cocks' - a classic Battle Of Britain Hurricane squadron.

43 Sqaudron were at the very heart of the battle, shooting down the first German plane on English soil they also flew over Dunkirk. Stationed at Tangmere they flew throughout most of the Battle Of Britain.

The squadron suffered heavy losses but covered themselves with glory shooting down dozens of German aircraft. Will you rise through the ranks to become the ' Chief Cock ' of 43 Squadron!

I'm still getting to grips with the new FMB and testing lots of stuff and waiting for a better understanding of scripts, expect the campaign Sept / Oct.

I think it was 5 years into IL2 before I completed building my first ever campaign!!

Cheers

Simon

Campaign runs fine on My Duel core + GTX560Ti. I think she has done a great job with this campaign and the clever scripting. Compliments to the lass!

New campaign from Vetochka http://translate.google.com/translat...hp%3Ft%3D71437

Download link (see end of 1st message) http://www.sukhoi.ru/forum/showthread.php?t=71437

Other campaigns translated to English http://airwarfare.com/sow/index.php?...tegory&catid=4

Parts of the google-translated text are a bit hard to understand some times, but i got most of it and it sounds really wicked: custom made scoring system, awards and promotions, kill confirmation (or lack of it, resulting in non-credited kills) and squadron supply pool of available aircraft, all of it sounds very good and it shows what can be done with the sim.

I'm looking forward to an English translated version, thanks for the heads up Ataros ;-)

Also, i think i should sticky this thread to help people have more campaigns to fly in single player. It would have to be only for announcements and giving links.
For discussion, troubleshooting, advice, etc, each campaign would be discussed in its own thread in the FMB and mission builder section of the forums and not here, this would only be so that these campaigns get some more exposure by having a "what's new" thread stickied on the front page.

What do you guys think?

Ataros 08-23-2011 04:27 PM

Vetochka mentioned they are working on translation.

Several people in that thread http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=25362 agreed that a sticky or forums section is needed with a collection of links to all offline content to make it easier for newcomers to find.
