I think VAC=1 is for password. its on on mine but does not ask for one on connection.

Could you tell me what the difficulty load-out would look like in the confs.ini for full realism minus the 2 handed controls option?

This is hell trying to remote connect on 2 cans and a string!

If I get that, I think our dedicated server should be up and running within minutes!

VAC has todo with Steam not a password ...I think :)
and SYN I have found no text based settings option for difficulty in any of the confs files...i think you need to set them via CMD like i did , the good new is you can login to console and make those changes if you set it up in the confs.ini file...i think its these options

A make sure battle is stopped
B type difficulty
C choose option you want to change and type for example "difficulty NoMapIcons 1" hit enter...wash rinse repeat :)

you have to scroll the window down to where it says "Create" :)
