First steps on skinning (real truck names)

Hey Guys,

I also just started skinning,
my try is the Kenworth T-600 at first. (Forget TITAN :D )

Here you see a skin, that doesn't seems to be available for your truck,
I replaced the purple/black one with this fancy one for testing.

Here some shots:

I still have some problems with the Alpha Channel,
but I think I can sort them out.

A problem (don't panic, it's the only one yet) is:
By using a replaced skin, you can't use FlipFlop/Chameleon effect on it (what you can buy on Truck Stops).
The game crashes to desktop, if you try.
Reason: By using FlipFlop/Chameleon effect, the original skin appears, I think that causes the error,
the game can't or won't handle... why so ever.

But I hope, its a small problem for you guys :D

All other functions, like upgrading your truck are still working like a charm.

I'll need some time for a whole costom skin pack,
to early for a fix announcement...
just lay back guys, I'll give a shout for release.

In the words of Jackie Gleason. "How Sweet It Is!" Let us know when you get the kinks out. I assume this will work for the English version too? Looking forward to it.

SlauMauser is pretty talented when it comes to skinning and modding, have you seen his work for 18 WOS Haulin?
Nice find by the way!

Yes I saw his work. But just saw! I hate SCS games. It did not play much. There are professional models in 3D programs. Yes. But unfortunately the SCS game loads the models very badly. And I hate physics of SCS (as well as RNR). But it is a problem games. General modelers and skiners are precision !!!!;)

Thanks, but i prefer your first version. In your last version you just copied and pasted sounds from the Cummins ISX370 folder, right?
