Yes, I know the story of that B-17. Aparently it was "captured" from a USAAF base by a visiting young british pilot. He pinched it from the base commanders desk and then flew it back home in his spitfire to RAF Kenley. It was later modified and repainted to represent the Raf coastal command B-17 that the pilot was himself now flying. ;)
