Based on player styles and languages I think something like this would work better for USSR:

1) philabong, varcus, olife, panz1t
2) mage, reaper, stingersix, trueshotcaller
3) kozz, macademic, he111, fangface
4) mirgervin, trk, drozz, filthyprick

though if it has no effect on who actually plays in a given match, it wouldn't matter except for training.

edal have you notified all team USSR members, if not then I will have to round them up

After thinking about it, I expect the site admins probably won't create usergroupd threads or forums because
1) it's a fair bit of work to create and maintain
2) they'd probably have to make trk an admin

so I have gone ahead and created a new website for team USSR. If the team isn't too confused maybe it will work.

The site is

http://shtabvvsov.getphpbb.com/

email activation is disabled, to keep it simple. All guests are considered spies. So register with something close to your psn id or name here, then I'll activate it, then you can post. There is already something very useful there.

as soon as it's processed, the site will be teamvvsrules.com

Can I take a peek?? lol just kidding. Well I guess team UK will have a little disadvantage in that we wont be able to post privately. Good thing we have got the best planes to compensate.

Kozzmo, I sent a simple PSN message to all players that teams are ready and to check the forum but I think it is better that you round them up as you said.

Yes, squadrons dont really affect how players must fly or organize, you guys (USSR) figure squadrons out. The squadrons that I posted would have been my choice for fair balanced squadrons but, again, I wont interfere

** Kozzmo, I will add your site to the first page of the thread as soon as it is confirmed that we cant have our own private thread on this forum.

I'll be happy to lead (or be 2nd in command of) an RAF squadron... any volunteers?

We'll need a silly name.... like "Badger" flight... or something old-school RAF.
I'm open to suggestions!

kozzm0 01-04-2010 11:49 AM

edal the domain tag you quoted isn't active yet, so for now it's

http://shtabvvsov.getphpbb.com

in case anyone tries the link you quoted, I already changed it but it didn't change in the quote

I sort of already chosen squadrons for the UK team. We will all fly together, so squadrons wont really have leaders. im not saying that this wont be possible, but the main purpose of squadron is to balance player skills. I may look for a way to give squadrons a little more meaning. In any case, Rhah, in order for you to be second in command or flight leader I think you will have to prove yourself by being the highest or second highest ranking officer on your flight group.

That sounds like a much better arrangement, and much easier to organise too. Just out of interest, can we see the squadron set up for the UK teams, or is it to be kept away from prying russian eyes?
