In my opinion too much did the intensity of the lighting in the daytime from the lamps lighting in the cabin + lighting from the exhaust.
In the past beta-patch everything was fine during the day, evening and night. In the final best to return as it was, than they are now, but now it is overkill. |

ok just got home from work.. which is the best dl site?
|
I dont want to be nasty, but... the Su26... If you can't improve at least 75% of that, you better NOT put it in the final patch. Seriously.

|
Bloody typical, I end up in Ibiza for the weekend and the patch is released, the weather here is crap and I'd much rather be testing the game.

It's Ok.......it didn't stop me having a few beers tonight, and I had a pretty good feed at a nice restaurant just round the corner from the hotel, no offence to the Spanish but I really don't rate most of the restaurants in the touristy areas, you have to find out of the way places where the locals eat if you want nice food in Spain.

thank you luthier. again you and your team have earn a nice cold brewski.
|
Thanks to the Team for this surprise.... Appreciated...
Also Thanks to ATAG... Just flew a Dawn Mission there...lighting was spectacular!!! Looked like there were 50+ pilots in the mission prior to that one which ended just as I joined.. Damaged three bombers over Hawkindge before I ran out of ammo...Those are hard to kill. I just wish we could rearm and refuel upon landing....maybe one day |

good news there is indications the spitfire performances are being corrected :) |
Please Luthier, try to add again the shadow clouds before final patch for COD. I really miss them.
|
So Im guessing they haven't corrected the too slow 109's?
|
Are radio commands working now? Can anyone please confirm?
|
Thank you Luthier,
Some solid graphical improvements with this patch. This is the first build where I can turn on grass and not have massive stutters. Keep up the good work JD AKA_MattE |
Great work guys, much better spotting planes and tracking, high clouds are a nice touch, Thank You:grin:
|
thanks for the update and the Su26, a very nice plane that take off like a harrier
|
Spit top speed ?
Hi
What top speed can actually reach I and II Mks at 18'000 ft ? Acc to history shld be by 260 IAS ie 350 TAS. And at SL shld be about 280 mph. |

Cloud shadows are back for me mate |
S!
Well..had to go out for last night and now with a bigger than life hangover trying to DL the patch and test it. Urgh..why oh why is human so stupid and drinks?! BTW, liked that humour on SU-26 :D The legendary green menace is back! |

00Awesome work Luthier!! Great Patch!!
My findings + ALOT more stable. As some people said. FPS might be lower my game is ALOT smoother low over ground. I can now fly with landshading to max and textures original! . Hit sounds are back!! :))) - Some Spits and Hurries are impossible to start since they start with cold engine. One guy had to crank for 10mins to get temp up! Performance over 18 000 feet is drastically wrong for red planes. They barely fly up there. The 109 still has this back ground drone noise. Especially during flybys. Ghis came a few patches ago! Still no drag penalty for flying with canopy open on red planes!! Still see gear down for 109s online. Looks weird in combats! ;) All in all!!! A good step forward! :)))) |
WHERE DO i FIND THE PATCH?

In the first post of this thread...

tHANKS, FOUND IT. I DL rar and opened it but no exe autoload command. Do I slide new folders into previous one by one? I am history buff BoB main interest not a proper sim pilot so please be patient with "Installation for Dummies". Previous updates seem to know what to do when opened but my memory is 75 now. Thanks

If you are still struggling go to:

Many thanks, Kendo..your instructions indispensible and I blundered my way into SU 26..amd my favorite Stuka
|
Glad to hear. Have fun. ;)

No more launcher crashes for me. I'm happy with this.
Game runs very smooth, no stutters so far at max settings. Clouds are back with shadow, looks good. Sound bullit impact is nice. Light effect is good but can be tuned down a little. Was hoping for AI changes. Probably no AI change for CLOD. Hopefully included in the sequel. |
Thanks for the patch, luthier; a nice improvement graphically and performance-wise. How come the fuel depot in Dover no longer explodes when fired upon?
|
S!
Had one Launcher.exe crash so far, sent the dump files to devs. |

I also did some basic FM editing about a year ago and it seems that the engine can handle the speeds involved alright. And double suns too! |
Wow guys, what a fantastic job you did there! I can finally fly Spits by the book. I hope the little bug will be ironed out soon that causes Merlins to stop when the throttle is idle (or below15%).
The SU-26 is a real blast to fly, very well done! For me the cockpit is a bit blurred and lo-res, is that normal? |

How do I delete the cache folder? |
Blurry su 26 instruments here too.
Cache deleted - didn't seem to help...? |
Hmmm okay could you post a pic of what it looks like, thanks
|
Very pleased with this patch:grin:
Played for an hour on a furball server last night, no slow-ups in the vicinity of enemy manned aircraft, no stuttering when zoomed in to enemy, Spit guns sound better and lots of nice hit sounds. I'm enjoying on-line again:grin: |
|
Very interesting. I'd like to do that.

Please note that we've just released a hotfix for the RC with improvements to British start-up and beta SLI-Crossfire support:
http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=34740 |
Luthier i wonder if you still worked on FM and performacne of CLOD planes?
Still most planes are too slow even at the low alts - British fighters are too slow ab. 20-30 mph and 109 is too slow ab. 20-30 kph. So now 100 Octan version reach only maximum speeds accurate for IRL 87 Octan version. Still there is not possible to keep RPMs and Boost settings from real life manuals beacuse engine damage ( overheating). Also i notice that there is something wrong with rudder working - it is not effective at slow speeds with power on and it is not possible to make correct stall turn ( like it is possible to do in Su26 FM) - it was possible to do in 109 patch before. 109 slats now open much more accurate like in British test but still 109 has nasty stall expecially easy to check in horizontal scisscors. |
Really nice update guys! Thanks a lot for the effort!
Can't wait for the final release! |
I am very grateful for this new patch, any improvement is welcome.
.. but I think they should focus all efforts on fixing the bugs reported in "http://www.il2bugtracker.com" instead, developing strange artifacts like the SU-26, with lasers and antimatter cannons etc. Thanks and best regards |

Blenheim Mk IV should reach 27k. I made it to 16k with a lot problems before the last patch and to 18k after it (it climbs smoothly there but not higher). Can anybody make it higher? If yes any suggestion what might be the mistake I do.
|
It seemed that all planes in CLOD have too low maximum service celling. Fighters are stuck about 6700-7400 with steady climb and don't go higher.
It is strange beacuse even in old IL2 planes have much more accurate service celling and there was no problem to reach 10 km in e.x. 109 E-4. I think 1C should focus much more on these but also in performacne of CLOD planes. They have near most needed RL data and the only thing is if that they want to do it or not before official patch relase. I dont belive that things which was possible to do in old IL2 are not possible to do in CLOD. |
Pozdrowienia, Kwiatek ;-)

Woo!
I wasn't expecting this, only spot it yesterday. Works like a sharme. What took you so long? Many thanks. Look forward for your next produt. Regards, Pedro Edited: If I were you, I will go on with a system on the same head lines was RoF, payed new planes and senarios, online gaming oriented. |
Sorry for highjack this topic, but.
If you guys and others like Rof team join efforts it will be like a dream and sucess for all flight simmer. Am I wrong? Lets see. Using the same standart world/Sim/weather/grafics engine (optimise the resorses and talents). And each team exploring a diferent flying era. Just my two cents. |

Waiting at least one year for "probably" more realistic FM and high altitude flying with sequel is really not funny :(

However with the velociraptor community we have we have proberbly shot ourselves in the foot already... So let the waiting begin! |
waiting a year for the sequel is quite optimistic imho... how long did we wait for Cliffs after announced ?
