What ever you think of Tree, i would say you should give him more sense and credit than to do something as stupid and simple as that.

That is debatable IMHO

Tree's threads always starts with a direct and polite question addressed to the devs....And he is entitled to express his opinions that way....
Ace's threads are always aggressive or cynical responses to such threads as Tree's..or any others that dare to complain about something and then get tagged with " unreasonnable whiners" name.
For the last 2 years, Tree has been spot on regarding the future and developpement schedule of CLOD...Go back, and check for yourself before accusing him of being a unusefull whiner....In fact, being overpositive as well
as negative isn't going to change anything in COD's faith, right ?
So nothing can be said here to change anything about the issue of this game...So let people express themselves...This is a forum.

Check out my join date and you will realise I have more than enough experience of Tree_uk. After all this time it is highly grating to read, it has been the same act with little change in two years. TWO YEARS! JESUS CHRIST ALMIGHTY!!!!

If you read correctly , I did not say that he was not negative, but polite and very precise about his questions. And those questions are addressed to the devs. Not to you.

The only way one could think I have such power is if they think me 'quoting' something Tree said and asking him for clarfication equates to the power to bann himself!

Perfect example was the this last time Tree got banned

I simply pointed out (quoted) Tree once again calling the devs liars.

At which point Tree realised he did, and thus proceeded to try and play it down.

But in the process of doing so he completly fabricated (aka lied) about what was said in a PM between him and another mod.

That lie is what got Tree banned!

Thus the moral of the story is, don't say things that when someone quotes you will in turn cause you to do something (in this case lie) that gets you banned

Well, as far as being right or wrong, Tree used to criticize the game...Ace and David attack people that criticize the game. When a person is put in the position of having to defend himself against these trolls bad things happen. Clearly they are masters in the art of douchebaggery, and they survive because they fly under the "pro COD" banner. (even though they don't do anything that helps the community)

I think it is important for the newcomers to this forum to know the difference between a real and false negative comment.

And by newcomer I mean, not only the people who have recently joined and post from time to time, but all the people out there that recently purchased CoD, or are thinking about it but have not joined the forum and only read what is in it. You know the types, people with jobs and kids and such that only have a few minutes a week to check up on the status of the game and have no interest let alone time to post anything

With that said

Can you imagine the impression a new comer would walk away with if they were to see a typical Tree_UK post, and all of Tree_UK supports agreeing with him.. That is to say a post where NO ONE disagrees with him. Chances are that newcomer will probably walk away with a view that this game is doomed.

That is one of the reasons I question statements like Tree_UK.. To provide some BALANCE!!

Software that is pushed out the door at full price without letting the gamer know they are buying into an alpha testing project does not deserve positive praise. I think new comers should avoid this title until it's fixed, otherwise they will have such a bad taste in their mouth they might swear off sims forever. The crystal ball and tea leaf reading crowd can only make theories about how great this game might be, but can't acknowledge that some critical questions should be answered. At least Tree tried to get these questions answered and was always on the side of the gamer. Ace and David are just self proclaimed developer advocates, and don't care how much the gamer gets the shaft.
