I have both, so I can't complain. All my friends have both as well, so it doesn't matter :P

LOL, it will always revert to fanboyism....

seriously though... I have played on PS3 online and on Xbox Live... both suck in normal game chat but that is due to idiots with mics that play the game.

Please enlighten me how fanboyism brached this thread? was it my last post? because I am by far not a fanboy of either console... I just speak about my own PERSONAL opinions on my experiences with both consoles... including the PC... ( consoles have way better voice options then PC )

I play on PS3 and I have never had the mics work for more than 2 minutes in that game.

oh god no... id shoot myself if I worked for them... I just have never had issues with my mic on that game. but like I said, I normally play with friends in a party. i found that if I join a game not in a party either no one talks, or someone has the mic down their throat... and you can hear them breathing like they were right on top of you.

I have heard from many that voice in games on PS3 doesn't work right.

on live if you have problems with your mic, its generally due to your router's NAT and/or firewall. which you can fix via opening ports in your router/firewall.
