I don't think these "hollywood explosions" are a bad idea. I played the PC games relentlessly. I actually like the explosions. I would, however, like to find a mix of them and some belly landings or rough landings. If that's not possible, I was always less interesting in landing and more interesting in downing other aircraft. I'd say that should be the focus.

But, if I had my druthers, the ability to belly land or have a rough landing for the SIM aspect of the game would be GREAT.

I crash landed in sim mode in the first mission. Broke my landing gear off and did not explode.

I have done that. 8)

In fact, I think the game let's you belly land without exploding(instantly) when you belly land without gear. I also had a dead engine so that may have helped.:)

Ohh ok then smarty pants! I would know this but someone hasnt given the ps3 a demo yet! *looks at sony* :rolleyes:
