Yeah, I gave up on no-loss after my first try on WoTN too, but it was a hard decision... I kinda get attached to my units in TBS/RTS games. Probably has something to do that the first such game I played was the old X-Com, where you get to remember all the heroics your soldiers did over the "years" of playing. :D

We're on the same page in loving XCOM. I don't mind the new version either. KB is like chess in that usually there's a way to get through a hard fight without losses, but the problem for me now is the sheer number of fights. I wish these games had 200 fights rather than 500+. I guess that's why I liked AP the best.

Crashes
 

Experiencing massive crashing when I'm fighting the lizardmen. Thnik it happens when advisers are waving their wands.

Same here, and I tried to kill them but still the game crashes. And its not like a usual crash, there is no `KB has stopped responding` pop up window afterwards.

The said crash happens on the new snow elf island, when u try to get to the cave but there is a lizardmen protecting the cave, u have to beat him to pass him but there is no way u can pass him with this crash

When the advisors reach 50% hp they cast their special spell and the game crashes, shackles lvl 3 fix this, a normal group of programers or the smallest test would had fix this too...

Has anyone submitted the lizardman crash yet? I haven't fought lizardmen yet and hope they can fix it before I do. :-P

Yes, please keep sending your bugreports (as detailed as possible) to our tech support. We're forwarding them to game programmers/scripters so they can prepare a fix.

Hmm, doesn't help me, my Lizardman fights still crash at random, doesn't seem related to the Advisors.

There is one lizard hero that crashes in turn 2 every time i play. Right now I just crashed when fighting the paladin in the marshlands. Not sure if it is a one time thing. Time will tell

When I click "Forsøg igen" which is "Try again" the game continiues as usual. But it happens every time i fight miners
