Obviously you do if you have compiled a map ;)

I'm watching this post with interest as I have exactly the same issue with my X52.
Nothing I do will get COD to recognise the Axis or Button inputs. Works fine in every other game. Hope you find a fix ;) |
I'm guessing its something silly that I haven't noticed or its my unfamiliarity with Win 7.
But no-one has an answer yet :( |

I assume you downloaded the latest CH control software for Win 7. |
I have spent MANY hours installing/uninstalling booting/re-booting/closing down , ticking boxes/un-ticking boxes, I don't know now wether I'm coming or going.
The game isn't seeing the controllers, everything works fine in Il2 46, but I can't get CoD to see my axes... :( ||Which is a pity because even though I've a low end system, the game doesn't look bad and plays smoothly enough so far :) |
Are you definately double clicking the axis assignment box/area and getting a second window to appear. Its when the second window appears that you move your axis to assign it. When you've got them all assigned hit apply, then go back into controls and hit save and give your mapping a file name that you can load up next time you start the game.

Mine does the same thing although im using a warthog hotas. Click on axis window second window pops up... move stick around.. nada.... move throttle... nada... move pedals... nada
Nothing is recognized |
this game is so frustrating as hell to get the controls working
|
It's definitely a bug.
