You blame no one. It was a freak accident. They should make a switcher option for the western release.

This thread is symptomatic of modern life...always looking for someone to blame.
Ok, I'll bite...I blame all of us, that's right everyone of you (including myself) who's reading this...it's entirely our fault. We're the one's who put pressure on ubi, Oleg etc. It's time to Man up people and face our responsibilities. Who's with me (although I have a feeling I'll be standing alone)? Ok then, it's my fault. |

Say a person has been flying IL-2 all of the 10 years it's been out. He's an epileptic and so far he hasn't had much trouble. All of a sudden he buys the sim he's been waiting for for six years. He gets it out and starts flying. Next thing he knows he finds himself on the floor a half hour later just waking up with muscles that ache. His inner cheek, tougue and lips might be chewed all to hell. His legs and arms might be bashed up also because of the grand mal seizure he's just had. This person would deffenetly need that filter. I think they need a switcher. This video has no filter I'm sure of it. It's almost two years old. Look how smooth it is.

Placing blame fixes nothing.
There is starting to be evidence that people with modern rigs, that are taking the time to tweak settings are getting acceptable performance. Some of the posters on the Russian forums are running very old rigs with weak specs. And besides we are only what, three odd days into the release? Personally I'm viewing the Russian early release as an open beta test session. The dev team will fix things. I know for some of you this statement will not be enough as you feel you are entitled to perfection for some odd reason. Here is a clue, perfection costs a lot more than $49.99, and certainly more than the $15 that our Russian friends are paying for the right to play what amounts to a beta. Be patient. By the time of the release in the Western Hemisphere (mid April) things will be better, and will continue to improve as time passes. cheers. |
