Bolox- I know back in 1940 it did,but most combats in stock missions & campaigns are fought way lower than this. Not sure why-perhaps it takes longer in real time to get there,or perhaps the FM's for aircraft don't perform well enough at correct altitudes? It says alot that I have been playing this sim since day one & I have never been high enough to see contrails before ( but do welcome them,because they add another level of beauty & immersion.) I saw these in a single mission titled 'Big Raid" ...my Hurricane had an impossible task of trying to reach these 110's ,so I decided to go for the do-17's below me.Of course the 110's had no trouble at all dropping on me & my mates like a ton of bricks!
Flaws , warts & all I love this sim!
