Yep. And It will be known as Blue on Blue co-op mode. ;)

Yeah, might surprise us. Then again Gaijin always leaves things out of their console games.

as a rotorwing guy and i gotta say: Bout time someone did a updated Helicopter game! Would be cool if they dlc'd some EC Tigers, Ah-1s, or OH-58s.

It seems like good fun, strangely enough using a flight stick seemed fairly natural. Skipped training as the guns/missiles wouldn't fire using a stick and went straight into the demo missions. Prefer the 'pit' view' TBH. It won't replace BOP , not for me anyway! Pity the demo doesn't say which buttons do what or what commands/controls are assigned /available. Only had a quick try but will give it another go later........

On ps3 the square button shows all of your button assignments, where you choose your options.

After playing the last mission of the demo, i'm stuck on a certain part. It is the objective where you cover the downed Apache aircrew.

Otherwise... the game looks like a 'buy' for me. The controls are great, the graphics look nice and the gameplay is awesome.

Press [] in the controls menu to see layout. There doesn't look like there will be optional layouts on console, like in BoP, which is a bit of a shame.

There are lots of ways to do this part without resorting to flattening the surrounding area with hydra. A good way is to put your helo in a slight bank then go into FLIR and use 30mm on any foot soldiers getting close and Hellfire on the RPGers that appear on rooftops. You'll have to pop back into cockpit view every now and then to correct the bank, but it protects you from the RPGs.

The missions were all too easy for me. Finished in about 45 minutes, if it takes you more the game has some value to you.
