It just means we'll get an update today. Wether the patch is released or not.

Yes, it will be screenshots or videos from suquel. Maybe. We'll think.

BlackSix .. sorry to bother you, but I have been fiddling with the FMB lately and looking at the ground objects available (and noting which ones are not) I have started to wonder on what base Maddox Games chooses the ground objects. Is it availability of source material combined with a bit of history?

An example: In game we have exactly one artillery gun (10,5cm leFH 18). Okay, maybe other types just fell prey to the problems with release and all that came afterwards. But we also have a number of captured french and polish (!) tanks whose role in the BoB was essentially nonexistant. It's just weird for someone like me to spend considerable amounts of work on objects which have no impact on gameplay within the chosen theater whereas other objects which would have an impact aren't modeled. I'm talking about british artillery as a whole (25pdr, 4.5in howitzer, the various coastal batteries), german heavy artillery (15cm sFH 18, 17cm K18, 21cm Mörser 18 etc etc) and of course the wide field of ships. Just some food for thought.

In 2004-2007 we had great plans for ground objects, guns, tanks, different campaigns and add-ons for CloD. You know about finish this history((

modelling ground objects takes a lot of time, too much time for now
If the sequel is a great success, maybe you will have more time and funds for this

Mmm, for may 9:th a video of all the flyable planes that are meant for the sequel flying low in massive tight formations over the red square would be a fitting video? Of course with all the ground vehicles joining the parade and harsh old men in funny fur hats at the podium that salute the parade? And of course the national anthem in the background... :)

Ahh the soviet/russian anthem truly kicks butt with all other anthems as a backgrund for parades and after winning stuff. So many times we (Sweden) where humiliated by the USSR in hockey the 80:ies and still you could not stop yourself from humming when the Russian anthem started :) Makarov, Krutov, Larionov, Fetisov and Kasatonov. What a line up...

Ah, that explains it. I do have a bit of input for the Eastern Front. Should I take that to Email?
